Ascending South America

Day 60 4th November

During the day sun is very strong and a break or two in shade has become a must.
Today we walked up to a village to rest.

We camped at Sau Antonio De Carpintuba, a small village in a small hidden creek in River Roosevelt.

At the end of the day it is always time to jumping water to cool down, and here no one wasted time.

In this serene location, water was so clear here that one could see bottom.

We meet Evanaldo and Jackson on the River Roosevelt on the banks of river, and they took us through the forest to a lagoon and across it was their village, Amorim. A small hamlet with 14 families living.
