The Fascinating Landscape
Left the camp in the morning and finished the remaining part of Kora. There were cheers all around and we moved into our waiting vehicle to head for Guge. On the way saw the rare sight of two Tibetan Wolfs stalking a lonely antelope.
Later on passed through an area known as Zhada National park of earth forest. This was sprawling landscape is like a mud grand canyon where great water channels must have carved these huge cross sections into the belly of earth after the last ice age.
The fascinating landscape spread over miles and miles still has some rivulets at the bottom of the gorge and is sprinkled by some very colourful flora. A backdrop of snow covered Himalayan peaks simply added to the surrlealistic charm of this landscape, which certainly has great tourism potential.
Zhada turned out to be a charming almost a one street town, with all modern comforts with, internet, good food and hot shower, all well earned and much awaited.
